First, you don't have to have bees or plan to start beekeeping to be a member! You just need to have an interest and love for the humble honey bee.
Why should I join?
The real question is why shouldn't you join, if you have an interest and love for the honey bee! We are an extremely social group and love to meet others that share our interests. You'll get to hear and learn about what is going on with the honey bee and if you're not thinking about being a Beekeeper, you might change your mind.
Becoming a member...
As you might expect, we have a modest annual membership fee of $25 for an individual and $30 for a family (any size). When you initially join, you will receive a book and 1-year membership to the Texas Beekeepers Association. At this point our Membership Application is still paper, so you can complete that at your first meeting.
Below are the current Bylaws for the Association, we are working on some amendments.
